A table after pleasure.
A body after appetite.
A gaze moving between shell, skin, fish, fruit and cloth.
Outerbridge does not work serially in today’s sense, yet his images give the gaze a rhythm: repetition, interruption, tension, balance, accent. Every object has its cue. The image is not a window, but a small theatre of disappearance.
